I don't believe in sharing information that could be damaging to someone ...though there are extenuating circumstances. And there are conditions that could be damaging to a person if information is not shared. What I mean is that I personally believe this to be true for those who find personal rejection uncomfortable, and choose not to share the Gospel.

Josh Groban sings a song, "You Raise Me Up".

I don't know what it means to someone else when they hear, or sing that song ...but, I think of Jesus.  I think of how He was raised up on that cruel cross, so I can have my spirit raised ...and one day, will rise with Him.

As in the photo, I also think of how Moms raise us.

Like I've said, I don't just voice my opinion to cause anyone hurt. And I don't automatically think of comparisons, judging the value of things ...but, rather I tend to just appreciate them. Yet, when someone brings something up, my mind is not inactive.

I've heard many Moms comment of their children's singing, "I've never heard that song sung more beautiful!"

Like I said, I'm not typically a critic ...a Simon Cowell version, but it does cross my mind how their children's singing was the 'most beautiful', when honestly it was not even close to the best I've ever heard.

So, who is entertaining this misconception ...or whose perception needs adjusting?

Of course, it was me who was missing something ...

Every Mom wants her children to be happy ...happy enough to sing.  And if that happens, it is the most beautiful thing.

So, when Mom hears her child sing ...her heart sings along.
